UNDERSTANDING BRING CONVERSION. Part 2. By Imaolanews

Understanding Brings Conversion Part – 2

On a Tuesday the boys used to come only to listen to the Word of God. One brother finished his retreat and he wanted to grow more in the Lord. The day he came back home and began to pray to God, it was his desire to grow in the Lord. For three years he was going into a fellowship where there was no Word of God. When he was crying
and praying to God, God said go back for the retreat, there you will meet a
man, and there your life will change. When he went back he had no clue of who
was going to speak to him, with all desperation and all thirst he was waiting
for the person. The evil one tried his best to get him out of focus, when he
went on Monday and excited with somebody giving him the word, Tuesday morning it was all dried up. He wanted to run away from the retreat house, there was a man that told him “There will be a man by the name Nelson, just listen to
the Word of God and your life will change, because of which he had a new hope.
So he began to wait in hope,” He opened the bible and he was asking the Holy
Spirit to reveal the scriptures. He was siting right in front doing the
intersession prayer and he felt someone coming from behind, he began to
understand that this was the man he was waiting for. He didn’t dare to look
behind he was focused on the Lord, that man opened the bible and read the
scripture and gave understanding on the same scripture he was reading in the
bible. When the Word was given, He began to understand who he was in Christ
Jesus. Then he began to come for the Bible class regularly, he was all the time
fearful, and he said he was a loser in life, he had attempted to commit
suicide, and financial problems and more overwhelmed him. So when he began to
understand the Word of God things began to change. So he was going for the Word
of God for three years but no knowledge of God no understanding so no change.
God is speaking His Word in parables! In those parables there is a beautiful
understanding! So here is a beautiful testimony a person seeking the Word of
God with all his heart God begins with that person who has understating will
come and teach you.
Confession of the day:
The Advocate the Holy
Spirit, whom the Father has sent in Jesus’ name, will teach me everything, and
remind me of all that Jesus has said to me. (John 14:26)

UNDERSTANDING BRINGS CONVERSION. Part 1. By: Imaolanews

Understanding Brings Conversion Part 1- God Speaks in Parables

(Mark 4:10-12) But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. And He
said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of
God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so
that ‘ Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may
hear and not understand; Lest they should
turn, And their sins be forgiven them.’”

This is a beautiful verse; Jesus is speaking the Word from the prophet Isaiah. Many at times when I preach the Word of God people wonder why is he talking the Word of God the whole day. Many people wonder when I go to church there is not much change in my life. I am reading the Word of God everyday, I pray everyday but there is not much change or
victory in my life. Now look at what Jesus says,

Now we believe that when Jesus spoke He spoke in parables. When he spoke in parables the people heard the parable of the Sower and the Seed and went home not understanding. But He said to his disciples to you has been given the power to understand the mysteries and secrets of the kingdom of God. Who are the people to whom Jesus is saying to you has been given the power to understand the mysteries and the secrets of the kingdom of God? It’s not for everyone, because out of the great crowd some of them went back home. He is speaking in parables so even as they see and see they will not perceive and even if they hear and hear they will not hear because if they
perceive, hear and understand their sins will be forgiven.

So why do you think Jesus is speaking in Parables?
Speaking in parables will make it easy to understand or difficult to understand? It will make a cloud and it hides the real truth and makes it difficult to understand. You see over here the twelve disciples and a few others came and asked Jesus when He was alone to teach and make them understand.

In other words Jesus is saying only those who spend time with Him and talk to Him and have fellowship with Him to them He gives the power to understand the mysteries and secrets of the kingdom of God.
So it’s very important to develop a relationship which Jesus, many people want to have a relationship with God because they want a blessing, a house, a job, their spouse to be blessed, their finances to be blessed, their children to be
blessed. So the very relationship with God is only to get needs fulfilled. Here
is Jesus talking about relationship, why is that so many people come for the
retreats listen to God’s Word so many of them who attend every retreat in town
but no change in their life. Conversion takes place in a person’s heart only
when He understands the Word of God, that’s why He says seeing that they may
see and not perceive hearing that they may hear and not understand. Only those
who understand the Word of God, their lives are never the same they begin to
change and now they are seeking the Lord not His riches. That is why it is
important to understand the Word of God because that is what brings
conversation in your life.

Coming for the retreat doesn’t bring a change, the Word of God is proclaimed from morning to evening so that you understand.
Once you understand and apply the Word of God not only your life is changed but
you go around being a blessing in the life of others.

So what did you learn today?

· God speaks in parables. Only those who fellowship with God, to him will
God reveal his mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom of God.
· Understanding and applying the Word of Godbrings change and conversion, not only in your life but in the lives of others around you.

Confession of the day:
All nations shall call
me blessed because I am a blessing wherever I go, when I go God’s blessing
follow me sometimes blessings overtakes me and before I reach are already
poured. Thank You Jesus, praise You Jesus (Genesis 39:11)

Almighty Father, we make
this prayer through Your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen

A PLACE CALL THERE Part 3. By:Imaolanews

A Place Called There Part 4

When I read the Word how true it is, if people where to understand that if I obey, go out and do what God wants me to do, I don’t even have to think about the provision it will surely come, because God has commanded the ravens even before I can take a move. I was just going to Colombo and I was with another brother in the train and I was discussing with him. I love discussing things because it is when you discuss with people who have the same kind of faith your faith begins to grow. When I look out I can see some plants having beautiful flowers, surly someone must have got it planted and watered it to make it grow. And because
there is continuous watering, the plant is bringing forth beautiful flowers and
in the same way we must learn to grow our faith. The person who studies by the
Word and lives by the Word of God is a person who makes his faith grow. When
people ask what do you do for a living I say I grow faith because faith has
given me the land, faith gives me the money to build the land, in other words
faith gives me everything I need from God.

What did we learn today?
(Romans 10:17) So
faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of
Christ.

We learned about
faith, you can get faith by hearing, hearing and studying the word of God.

Confession for this day:
I pray that the
God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of
wisdom and revelation as you come to know him (Ephesians 1:17)

The spirit of the
Lord shall rest on you, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11:2)

A PLACE CALL THERE Part 2. By:Imaolanews

A Place Called There Part – 2

Lets go back to Elijah in 1 kings 17:2 And the word of Lord came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward and hide thyself by the brook, Cherith, that if before Jordan. And it shall be, that
thou shalt drink of the brook and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee
there.

In the first verse God didn’t speak about
Elijah’s protection but the moment he obeyed step 1 the Word of the Lord came
unto him and now God is talking about his protection. There is God not only
speaking about protection, He is also giving Elijah a provision and saying
Elijah I want you to go to a place near the brook and you will be taken care of
with water to drink. So God’s Word shows that when you obey God, obedience does
not only give you protection it is giving you the provision as well.

This is what verse 4 says. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

Now the bible doesn’t say to Elijah ‘I will’
it says, ‘I have already commanded,’ in other word God is saying to Elijah
“Elijah, I love you so much before you could present your self to King
Ahab I have made every provision for you I have already commanded. Listen
Elijah it is not when you obey and I see that now you have obeyed then I move.
I have moved on your behalf even before you have obeyed.” That’s our God
whom we serve.

God is saying I have commanded the ravens. Have you ever seen a raven? A raven doesn’t bring food but grabs it but here is God
saying I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. Nobody wants to go ‘there’
everybody wants ‘here’, God says I have commanded the ravens to feed you ‘there.’
God had already commanded the raven to bring forth food to a place called ‘there.’
Now lets say Elijah did not go to that place, the ravens would have surely
brought food there everyday but Elijah would have never been able to taste the
food because he never went to the place called ‘there.’ Many people have not
been able to experience the provision of God because they are always here.

What did we learn today?
· God is not going to move on our behalf he already has.
· A provision is made for us in a place called ‘there’ if we obey the Word of God
Confession for this day:
I give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union
with Christ He has blessed us by giving us every Spiritual blessing in the
heavenly word.
