Ambassadorof Christ Part – 3 John 14:16 – And I will ask the Father, and he will give you anotherHelper, to be with you forever, Wehave the privilege of being the “adopted children” in the family of God becauseof the Blood of Jesus that has washed away our sins. After Jesus’ resurrection, when he met hisdisciples after forty days, he instructed them to await the coming of thecomforter, who would fill them with the power to become witnesses over thewhole world. Recall that the discipleswere men with weaknesses like you and me. But praise be to God, when the Spiritof God came upon them, they went around like Jesus, teaching and preaching theWord and healing the people.John 8:12 – “I am the light of the world.Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”Weare born of a human Father and the bible says that sin came into the worldthrough Adam and that it is transferred from father to child. On the other hand, Jesus was born by thepower of the Holy Spirit and hence there was no sin in Him. He walked on thisearth without sin. Jesus is the Light of the world; He had the life and sinlessblood of God and wherever he went, sicknesses and demons were cast out. In Mark 4: 37-41 we read how the Devil is trying to killJesus by generating a storm. But Jesusis not troubled by it and is still asleep because His focus is on HisFather. When the disciples tell Himabout the storm he says “Why are you so fearful? How isit that you have no faith?” Whatdoes He do to calm the storm? Does He talk to the Father or to the storm? Thereare times to talk to the Father and times to talk to the storm. Jesus talks to the storm and comfortablyreaches the other side. In Mark 5: 1-13we read about a man described as someone, who “no man could bind him, no, not with chains” and “neither could any man tame him”. But when he saw Jesus from far, he ranand worshipped him. He recognized theLight of the World. Jesus cast out thedemons and set the man free. We are not a match forour spiritual enemies, in our own strength; but in the Lord, and in the power of his might, we shall be able tostand against legions of them. When thevilest transgressor is delivered by the power of Jesus from the bondage ofSatan, he will gladly sit at the feet of his Deliverer, and hear his word. Re: 15:4: Who shall not fearYou, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy.
