WordsHave Power Part – 5 Heb 11:6 – And withoutfaith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God mustbelieve that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Inthe previous parts we have learnt that our prayers do not get answered when ourmouth and Spirit are in disagreement. Yes, we want healing, wewant deliverance. Now, we know that we have to align our Spirit to accept whatwe say. So, how do we bring about this harmony between our mouth and theSpirit? 2Ch:7:14 says – If my people who are called by my namehumble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wickedways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and healtheir land. InGod’s kingdom everything is about believing in His Word. In thispassage our God wants us to repent from the bottom of ourhearts. The grace of our Lord Jesus is so overwhelming that no sinis big enough for Him not to forgive us. Isa:1:18 says Come now, and let us reason together, thoughyour sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be redlike crimson, they shall be as wool. Whatis repentance? Repentanceis to feel such regret and dissatisfaction over some past action or intentionas to change one’s mind about it or to change one’s way. Repentanceis the right attitude towards God; it is a return to God. Repentance is theright attitude towards own self. It is about changing your thought processabout a particular situation and deciding never to put it into practice anymore. It does not mean that you feel sorry for a while, yet continue living the sameold way.
