THE ELECTION WE BE CREDIBLE- INEC
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega has higligthed the decision to make the forthcoming election better.
This was disclosed in Abuja at INEC stakeholders summit, which was also attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr Suleiman Abba, National Commissioners, chairman of IPAC, Yinusa Tanko and INEC youth Ambasserdors.
Speaking at the summit, INEC chairman Prof. jega assured Nigerians that all electoral officials are being trained on how to use the card reader.
However, the Inspector General Of Police (IGP), Suleiman Abba at the summit explained the preparation of the Nigeria Police force toward the forthcoming election.
He said we will have at least 3 police officers at the 155,000 polling unit/voting point on Election Day to provide security for the voters.
Speaking further, the IGP explained that the Nigeria Police Force will not only provide Security for the voters, but also the International Conference Centre where INEC will be stationed.
