Victor Osimhen leaves for Germany to sign for Wolfsburg

The Nigeria U-17 starlet, Victor Osimhen, left
Lagos on Monday for Germany to complete his
transfer to a Bundesliga club side, Wolfsburg,
after turning down several moves by a few
European club sides, Goal.com has reported.
The young and lanky striker who scored 10
goals to set a new Fifa U17 World Cup record
in Chile last year has since become the toast
of many European club sides including
reported interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and
Chelsea.
HLN says Osimhen has visited Belgium and
Anderlecht and was impressed by the club’s
offer.
However, Osimhen, has opted for Wolfsburg
where he expects to develop into a world class
senior striker.
Pictures of the 17-year-old striker at the
Murtala Muhammed International Airport with
his father and three sisters before his
departure were obtained by Goal.com as seen
on their website.
The website also reported that Osimhen and
his father departed for Germany via a
Lufthansa flight.
